Martina McBride sings National Anthem at Daytona 500
DAYTONA BEACH FLA. (WOFL FOX 35) – Country music star Martina McBride sang the National Anthem Sunday at the Daytona 500.
Prior to her performance she announced that she will be returning to Daytona July 2 for a concert as part of the Coke Zero weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
McBride is a four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year, three-time American Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year and a Grammy winning recording artist with more than 18 million in album sales and 24 top-10 singles, including six that reached No. 1.

Martina McBride, Miranda & Trace Join 2011 Houston Rodeo Shows
Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins are the latest artists to be added to the list of performers at the 2011 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The event is set to take place March 1-20 at Houston’s Reliant Stadium, with Trace performing on March 2 during Armed Force Appreciation Day, while Martina is scheduled for March 9 and Miranda for March 16.
Previously announced performers include Sugarland (March 3), Selena Gomez (March 6), the Zac Brown Band (March 17) and Brad Paisley (March 19). A complete list of performers is expected to be announced next month.
Since its beginning in 1932, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has contributed more than $265 million to scholarships, research, endowments and other youth programs.
Miranda, who is nominated for five Grammy Awards, will first hit the stage for a two-night stand in Temecula, Calif., on December 30. For more Miranda Lambert tour dates, click here.
Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts Performing at NASCAR Awards Ceremony
Martina McBride and Rascal Flatts will perform at the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards ceremony set for Friday (Dec. 3) at Wynn Las Vegas. McBride will sing “America the Beautiful” for drivers and teams. The ceremony, to be telecast live on the Speed Channel, will also feature Colbie Caillat, a production from Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis and host Frank Caliendo. The awards ceremony will highlight Champion’s Week, a postseason event in Las Vegas.
